The regulations of the National Symposium,”The Young Doctoral Students Olympiad”

 

 

Article 1. The National Symposium, “The Young Doctoral Students Olympiad” is organized by the Research Center for Human Performance (RCHP), Pitesti and the National Institute for Sport Research (N.I.S.R), Bucharest, in order to stimulate the research activity of the doctoral students and encourage the scientific approach of the research projects elaboration realized for the National Council for Scientific Research in Superior Education (N.C.S.R.S.E.) – young doctoral students projects (Y.D.S. projects).

The 2rd edition of the competition will be held to Physical Education and Sport Faculty on 06.03.2008 and belongs to the activities that are dedicated to “Physical Education and Sport Faculty from Pitesti Day”.

 

Article 2. The symposium is held as a research projects competition. The jury commission will appreciate the structure, content and presentation of the projects according to an evaluation grid establishing also the final score of the project.

 

Article 3. In this competition may participate the doctoral students with the maximum age of 35 years old.

 

Article 4. The registration in the competition will be made on-line on the RCPH website (http://www.ccpu.ro/), at the Scientific Manifestationos, until 22.02.2008. The projects will be send on RCPH website or to the faculty secretary (in electronic and written format) until 22.02.2008.

 

Article 5. The appreciation of the projects that are registered in the competition will be made after the criteria that are attached to the present regulations, by totalizing the points in two stages: the points that are given to the projects content, score transmitted by the evaluation commission members until 28.02.2008 to the Projects Evaluation Commission President and by the points that are given to the project presentation, from 06.03.2008.

 

Article 6.  The National Institute for Sport Research, Bucharest gives money rewards to the first three projects doctoral students, after the commission evaluation, as it follows: 1st award – 1000 lei; 2nd award - 600 lei; 3rd award – 400 lei.

 

Article 7.  The Research Center for Human Performance gives: a special award for the most original project theme; participation diploma to all participants; facilitates a free publishing in the “Citius Altius Fortius” Magazine for the first three places.

 

            Article 8. The first three places from 2007 edition of the National Symposium “The Young Doctoral Students Olympiad” are not allowed to participate to the following editions of this competition.
